Item 3: Director’s Report
|
Report on Bat Mist Netting – Bat Mist Netting has been completed. There was no indication of the endangered Indiana Bat present in the project area.
Update on Township Hall Architectural Plans – An architectural rendering was submitted by Hobbs and Black, Architects. Floor plans should be submitted within the next week. A copy of the rendering was given to the Board.
Update on Biological Assessment of Carrus Lake – Asti has completed their Biological Assessment of Carrus Lake. A report will be submitted to the Board at the next meeting.
Update on Environmental Assessment – August 8, 2007, is the date set for the public hearing on the results of the Environmental Assessment. Public Hearing to be held at the Links of Pinewood, August 8, 2007, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Update on Public Hearing for Wetland Permit – July 24, 2007, is the date set for the public hearing for the Wetlands Permit. Public Hearing to be held at the Links of Pinewood, July 24, 2007, at 6:30 p.m.
Additional Information – The Lorang property purchase has been completed. The property will be rented on a lease occupancy agreement. No time element for the lease agreement has been agreed upon to date.

Item 4: Engineer's Update
|
Martin Parkway base plans for the road has engineering approval by the Road Commission for Oakland County. The next phase of the road project engineering plans are 80% completed. Base plans for the dirt work are in process.

Item 6: Planning Director's Update
|
The Planning Commission received the Town Center Overlay District for review. The Haggerty Road Corridor Overlay District is expected to be sent to the Planning Commission in August or September.

Item 7: Tentative Executive Session

MOTION by Gotts, second by Lanni, to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing purchase of property.

MOTION by Gotts, second by Zoner to approve the purchase of property Resolution of the Commerce Township Downtown Development Authority regarding the Purchase of Land as discussed in Executive Session.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
MOTION by Zoner, second by Gotts, to authorize Director Berry to pursue all options and proceed with the fire hydrants painting project.
