Chairperson Shimmin called the meeting to order at 12:35 p.m.

Approval of the Minutes:

January 30, 2007, Minutes as presented.

MOTION by Zoner, second by Lublin, to approve the minutes of the January 30, 2007, Regular Meeting as presented.

MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

Item 1: Public Comments

None.

Item 2: Consent Agenda

Treasurer’s Report for January 2007

Warrants with add-ons

MOTION by Zoner, second by Motz, to approve the Consent Agenda, which includes the Treasurer’s Report for October 2006 and the Warrants with additions.

MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

Item 3: Director’s Report

Director Berry reported the following:

Financial Status Update
Director Berry stated the financial status report would be given later in the meeting. In addition, the Environmental Assessment was close to final form and it would be possible to be submitted soon.

Item 4:  Engineers Update

Giffels Webster stated they are finalizing the geometrics on the round-a-bouts and will submit to the Road Commission for Oakland County soon.

Item 5:  Attorney Update:

None.

Item 6:  Planning Director's Update

The Planning Director reported that the text amendment to include hospital zoning in the SP Districts was introduced at the last Township Board meeting and is expected to be up for adoption at the March meeting. This text amendment would include the proposed Beaumont area and the Huron Valley Hospital area.

Item 7:  Tentative Executive Session

MOTION by Zoner, second by Gotts to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of discussion of the purchase of property.

Entered into Executive Session at 12:55 p.m.

Returned from Executive Session at 1:15 p.m.

MOTION by Lanni, second by Thomas supporting the actions of the DDA in their support of the Commerce First Committee and request monthly reports on the activities of that Committee.

MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

Item 8: Other Matters

As there was no other matters, Motion by Zoner, second by adjourn. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 1:20 p.m.
