Marina Bilopolska

Commerce Township may be considered slightly different from Marina Bilopolska’s native Ukraine. But Marina has been so involved in the Downtown Development Authority and in township community life; no one would think she could tell the difference.

Marina graduated from the University of Civil Engineering in the Ukraine with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. At her present company, she has worked for 10 years as a civil engineer, five years as an estimator and one year as a realtor.

Marina is a member of the Association Board of Realtors. She received an honorary diploma in civil engineering from the Structural Steel Association and a certificate of business accounting from Fraser Pacific College.

Marina and her husband Alexander have one son, Igor, 16. Marina enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing and reading.
