Frank Marotta

As a long time resident of Commerce, Frank Marotta has seen the township grow and change. Although he doesn’t like to brag, he will admit he is particularly proud of his work with the Downtown Development Authority and is especially fond of Commerce Township.

As a member of the DDA board, Frank is responsible for much of the growth in Commerce. Frank also manages to find time to manage the activities of three companies: Marotta Stock Farm, Builders of Michigan, Inc, and Frank Marotta and Associates. He has been president of all three since their inception in 1955. He is also a member of the National Association of Home Builders.

Frank and his wife, Kathryn, have five adult children: Charles, Toniann, Frank, Donald and Thomas. They also have seven grandchildren. Frank’s hobbies include horse racing, fishing and watching sports.
