Doug Lanni

Before Doug Lanni began working tirelessly for the Commerce Township Downtown Development Authority, he was a CEO, firefighter and a member of the U.S. military.

Before his retiring, Doug served as CEO and trustee of Douglas Water Conditioning, where he worked for more than 30 years. He was also a member of the Commerce Township Fire Department Reserve and a volunteer firefighter for Oakland County. He served in the U.S. military from 1967-71. Doug attended both Oakland Community College and Madonna University.

Doug is also involved in a number of community organizations including: Masonic Lodge 121, Mulite Lakes, The Jaycees and the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce..

Doug and his wife, Lynn, have two sons, Dan, 23, and Mike, 15. In his spare time, Doug enjoys hunting, boating, fishing and golf.
